Ha! Ha! Ha!

This has got to be the best thing I have ever had the pleasure of reading:

"The UEFA chief has stuck the boot into English football once more, declaring that the Citizens could be axed from European competition if they keep launching mega-money bids for the world's top players..."

Now I'll get onto the reason why that above quote makes me happier than a pig in mud. Over the past month, in the real footballing world there was a transfer window. During said transfer window Manchester City, decided to send all of AC Milan's fans into a tizzy by offering a record transfer fee for this guy:

His name? His name is Ricardo Izecson Dos Santos Leite; otherwise know as Ricky Kaka or just plain Kaka. You see what City didn't take into account was the fans love for our beloved Ricky.

In the end after a few very tense and sleepless nights on my end, City were told to take a long walk off a short pier and that our Bambino D'Oro would be staying where he belongs. That is the reason that I am getting so much joy out of the above quote.

What did they think that they would be able to waltz into Milan and take him, without any repercussions? Well boy were they wrong. The news of his possible departure sent everyone into hysteria and the fans organized protest and banners and sang to the guy for hours underneath his window, to the point that they scared his precious 7-month-old son.It makes me happy because out of this whole thing not only did they not get rickito mio, but now they could possibly be kicked out of European competition.

Karma's a bitch baby!

It was a long few weeks indeed, would he stay? Would he go? Was such a relief when it ended, he's not just a great player, but a great guy too and vital to the success of the team. I heard Maldini's son was crying when he thought he was going! I reckon it'll be the same all over again with Real Madrid this time over the summer, why can't other teams just leave him alone!

It was, and the day after it was announced he was staying Maldini said it himself that Christian (his oldest) was crying and then when he heard that he was staying he was all smiles and on cloud 9. I don't know why people can't leave him alone but it's like a journalist said: "The Milan fans are finding out what it's like to be married to a pretty lady" :P Everyone wants her (or him in this case). But I really think that he won't be going anywhere at least until his contract is up.
